Skip Saylor began investing in single-family houses and duplexes during the last few years of his US Navy career. While he has dabbled in flips and mobile homes, he has been primarily a “buy and hold” investor on the Peninsula. He continues to enjoy being a landlord. Skip served as president of TRIG during the 1990’s and into the 2000’s and has continued as a Board member since leaving office. He and his wife Mary are the owners of National Tenant Network, a tenant screening service with subscribers throughout Hampton Roads.
