About Your Speaker
John Kaptan, ESQ is a Hampton Roads-based attorney working out of the Virginia Beach office of Hanger Law. John practices in the areas of Property Manager / Landlord representation, residential and commercial real estate transactions, contract drafting and review, small business formation and consulting, estate planning, civil litigation, and traffic defense.
His experience as a licensed real estate agent and landlord informs his real estate practice permitting him to quickly identify the legal, business, and relational considerations of his clients.
A 2004 graduate of the United State Naval Academy, John developed leadership skills as a Surface Warfare Officer that he has translated into leading a litigation team. John remains affiliated as JAG Officer in the Navy Reserves. John is an honor graduate of the Regent University School of Law where he remains committed to the development of the next generation of lawyers by supporting the Business Law Society.
Professional admissions include the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

Admission is free for members; $25 for guests (If a guest joins TRIG within 30 days the guest fee can be applied to the membership.)
