As broker and owner of Sea Shore Realty & Property Management, Tracy has 19 years of unwavering real estate success and a heart for her community. She’s a go-getter with a desire to grow her woman-owned corporation. Tracy started out as an investor then became a Realtor with Cardinal Realty, where she was #1 in sales volume ten years in a row. Her vast success and a sincere passion for the real estate industry was the driving force to start her own realty company in 2000. With excellent leadership and management skills, she has taken her company from a single Realtor/Broker to a staff of 27, capable of meeting any real estate need.

With a knack for the industry, Tracy is fantastic at appropriately pricing properties to receive maximum impact and timely sales. She also enjoys assisting people in finding affordable housing in a succinct time frame. Her main objective is to produce a win/win for all involved parties.

They have been living in the Tidewater area for almost nine years, after having spent many years living in the Richmond VA area. They formed DOM Properties, L.L.C. last year and currently own five rental properties, which consists of three single family houses, one duplex, and one apartment complex. They are very interested in buying multi-family properties and would like to pursue rehabbing and flipping single-family houses. They really enjoy the TRIG meetings and talking with and learning from other TRIG members.

Lyn Becker

Lyn and her husband Jeff just relocated to Norfolk in October 2006 from Clearwater Florida to pursue a full time career in real estate investing. Lyn has been a certified public accountant for 24 years. During this time she has been the VP of Finance for a $250 million publicly traded company, Chief Financial Officer of multi location hospital, managed a diversified client base for a Massachusetts CPA firm, controller for a REMAX holding company (owned 20 offices) and owned her own CPA practice. She has been doing tax planning and preparation for 27 years. . Lyn is in the process of establishing a Hampton Roads based accounting practice specializing in real estate investors and professions. She provides a wide range of services including tax planning and preparation, accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services. Lyn currently has a tax client base dating back over 20 years with clients throughout the United States. She has attended Whitney seminars in foreclosure, asset protection, creative finance, and domestic and international land development. Through these seminars she has picked valuable real estate knowledge as well as additional real estate tax clients and contacts. As an active real estate investor Lyn knows the tax laws and loopholes that go with the industry. She is eager help local TRIG members organize their finances and minimize their tax burdens. Sal has been investing in businesses and real estate for over 25 years, of which the last 8 years have been in the Hampton Roads region of VA. George Russo

George has been in the customer service industry for 20 plus years. He has worked in both the automotive and the information technology industry. He has managed teams that included up to 30 employees and lead projects that included computer network installs of up to 200 users. He relocated to Virginia Beach in April 2005 after spending the majority of his life in the NJ/NY Metro area. His wife Judi is a 1st grade teacher for Virginia Beach Schools. He and Judi care for their children Gabriella, Antonia, and son Nicholas. He has been in real estate for the last 3 years. George currently manages rental properties along with being an active wholesaler. He advertises under the moniker of “MrCASHbuysHouses.com”. He has completed several deals that have ranged from rehabbing for retail, managing multi unit properties, contract assignments, and mobile home deals. He is continually looking to increase his portfolio of rental property and would like to venture into apartment building ownership. He recently has gone back to his past career and started a computer networking company that offers services to small businesses in the Hampton Roads area. George is also a board member for TRIG, the Foreclosure Prevention Council of America, and his homeowner’s association. He has chaired both the TRIG Summer Party and the TRIG Vendor Expo.

Jeff Becker

Jeff and his wife Lyn just relocated to Norfolk in October 2006 from Clearwater Florida. Jeff left his 20 year tenure in the construction industry to focus 110% of his time to real estate investing. In the first two months since arriving in Norfolk, he has been involved in 7 real estate deals. These deals include an assignment, 2 foreclosure workouts, a pre-foreclosure purchase and hold, a rehab/ retail sale, a short sale, and a potential pre-foreclosure wholesale deal. Jeff brings the deals to the table and relies on his wife Lyn’s financial background to determine the most advantageous exit strategy to maximize our return on investment (it’s all about ROI!!!). Jeff is a go-getter and eager to partner up with other TRIG members to close a deal. Jeff and his wife currently own property in Florida, Missouri, Virginia and North Carolina. Howard Keesler began investing at age 19 with the purchase of an acre of land on Grand Bahama Island. His father a MD broker, Howard became a licensed Realtor by age 20. He also owned and operated a home improvement company in his 20’s, installing mostly siding and trim.

Howard served in the Navy Reserves during the Vietnam Era as a radioman aboard the USS Holland in Spain, servicing the submarine squadron there.

Interested in electro-mechanics and electronics early on (old Ham Radio operators never die, do they?), Howard joined C&P Telephone and retired from Bell Atlantic in MD after 31 years. He moved here to Southside as a project manager for a sub-contractor on VDOT video/communications work, and his team put up hundreds of cameras around the Interstate roads, as well as their computers and video switches in the tunnels. He left that work to pursue full-time real estate investing.

Although Howard has done rehabs, partnerships, and other creative real estate investing, his business focus in 2007 has been on foreclosure solutions for homeowners, whether using short sales, note purchases, or other tools. Partnering with Realtors to secure win-win solutions for homeowners is right up his alley.

Howard and his wife (Dot) have been married 36 years, have two grown kids and three grandsons, and reside in Merrimac Point in Portsmouth.

Roy Malone (Charter Member)

Retired after 30 years in the Navy in July 1981.  He and Elaine bought their first townhouse in 1972, and their current residence, 2741 River Rd. in Va. Beach in 1974 (tel. 481 1829). He and his son John (481-3359) own several properties in Va. Beach, Portsmouth, Norfolk and Chesapeake. They have been joined by son-in-law, Jeff Phenneger(431 3223), who retired from the Navy after 20 years service.  He and John are looking for properties to purchase, repair or rehab and sell or rent.  Roy is a plankowner of  TRIG and has enjoyed the comradeship and fountain of  knowledge of group members for many years.
